Bridget Ence Jackson is a professional harpist from Las Vegas, Nevada who has been playing the harp for fifteen years. As a young harpist she competed in festivals every year and earned all superior ratings. She also played for several seasons as a member of the Las Vegas Zion's Youth Symphony in front of thousands of people at the Smith Center for Performing Arts. She has attended multiple harp workshops and master classes led by famous harpists such as Carrol McLaughlin and Emmanuel Ceysson.
Bridget now resides in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in Harp Performance from Utah Valley University. While attending UVU she earned a music scholarship every semester, including the prestigious Rebecca Marriott Champion Music Scholarship.
Bridget regularly plays with local groups, including the West Valley Symphony and the Utah Chapter of Witness Music. As a freelance harpist she is hired for special events, including weddings, parties, and corporate events. Notable persons she has played for include Governor Mitt Romney, former President of UVU Matthew Holland, and popular artists Alex Boyé, Lexi Walker, and Tiffany Houghton. Along with teaching the harp to students of all ages, she also works as a studio musician and composes and arranges music of her own.
